The School of Dentistry was founded in 1963 as part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Hacettepe University. It was the second dentistry school in Turkey and established as “Faculty of Dentistry” in 1971. The first graduates of Hacettepe University Dental Faculty were in 1968. The number of graduates has been 3112 and post graduates at the PhD level, 317, up to 2013. As of today, 635 students are having education.
