Hacettepe University
The department has been established in 1994 following the approval of the Higher Education Council in 1992. The Graduate Program (M.A. in International Relations) was started in 1997-1998 academic year. Following this, in 1999-2000, we began accepting our first undergraduate students. The curriculum is established on three basic fields of academic studies: International Relations (Theory and Politics), International Law, and Political History Curriculums of both the graduate and undergraduate programs have been established basically on these three pillars.
Approved by the Higher Education Council in 1992, our department was established in 1994. It was established by the University Senate decision, and the graduate program (with thesis) was initiated in the 1997-1998 academic year. In the 2012-2013 academic year, the Peace and Conflict Studies graduate program (with thesis) was also launched.
