Surgical Nursing
Hacettepe University
Master of surgical nursing is founded in 1968 at Hacettepe University. This program include in course and thesis which are continue 4 semester (2 year). When a student who successfully complete course that worth at least 21 credit and master thesis, graduated from a master of science. Master of surgical nursing is conducted by 3 faculty members.
The goal of this program is to train the Community Health nursing specialist who has the universal scientific person qualities in the field of community health nursing education and research.
Nursing Services Administration Master Degree Program was offered for the first time in Turkey at our university in 1982. Application Requirements are having BS in nursing, two years work experience in nursing and compliance to conditions stipulated by the “Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences, Graduate Education-Teaching Regulation”. The duration of program is two years (four semesters).
Hacettepe Univesity Nursing Faculty has carried on education activities since 1961. first it was belonged to the Hacettepe University Child Health Research Institute. In 1972 it connected to the Hacettepe University Rectorate directly. And in 2007 it was connected to the Health Science Faculty as Nursing Department. Since December 2012 it has been Nursing Faculty. Nursing Faculty gives nursing education at national and international standarts with a strong academic structure.
